James T. Kinard, PhD is an internationally   renowned mathematician, author,  and creator of the theory and practice to the approach of Rigorous Mathematical Thinking.  He is a  foremost national authority on  conceptual  mathematical processes.  Applying the distinguished Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment methodology, Dr. Kinard has proven results that any age group can reach a higher level of mathematical conceptual understanding and proficiency in mathematical procedures and operations.

 

Dr. Kinard has utilized his advanced studies in  Electroanalytical Chemistry, Theoretical Physical Chemistry, and Mathematics to teach and research the philosophy of mathematical processes.  Since 1971, he has published numerous articles in esteemed scientific journals and has recently published Rigorous Mathematical Thinking: Conceptual Formation in the Mathematical Classroom  under Cambridge University Press Publishers.

Associate RMT instructor, Gwendolyn Gibson-Kinard, PhD is a certified cognitive educator.  As an apprentice of the famed Professor Reuven Feuerstein, she is a skilled trainer in Instrumental Enrichment with Mediated Learning Experience.  She has utilized her studies in Public Policy Analysis, Early Childhood Education, and Chemistry to teach students in grades from pre-kindergarten to post-secondary levels.  Dr. Gibson-Kinard is also a licensed trainer from the National Institute for Learning Development in Educational Therapy.
